On the Move
As if surrounded by a celestial halo, space shuttle Discovery made its way towards the expansive confines of NASA Kennedy Space Center's Vehicle Assembly Building following a move from its processing hangar on Sept. 9, 2010. A metal sling will be carefully connected to the spacecraft and then operators will hoist it from transfer aisle to the high reaches of the 52-story building before lowering it into place beside the external fuel tank and twin solid rocket boosters. Crews then will connect the spacecraft giving the stack its familiar launch day form. Discovery is targeted to liftoff on the 11-day STS-133 mission on Nov. 1 at 4:40 p.m. EDT. Posted by Skip Stone on October 31st, 2008Unanticipated consequences caused my website to work all aspects of my web presence. Loading all of the cpu intensive web apps at the same time on the opening page of absolute-zero.com was a bit …..well lets say that my server, net connection, and home network were pretty over whelmed. So this new page will load first and you can use the cloud to navigate or just read the feeds.
